Good to know about the great Big Ben

Have you ever thought about going to London? 

Do you want to know what to visit there? 

Well I suggest you visiting the Big Ben. 

Here is some interesting information about it.

As you may know it is part of the Westminster Abbey. But would you believe that it’s not the original building? In fact it had got destroyed by a fire in 1834. It had been rebuilt according to Edmund Beckett Denison’s plans. 

It has a height of 96 meters which means 315 ft. The Big Ben is well-known for the right time it shows.

From 1992 the chime of the bells of the Big Ben is broadcasted live on the radio and today this can be heard on BBC Radio 4.

If I still haven’t made you curious about visiting it, here is the best reason: It’s beautiful and definitely worth visiting!
